Clinic Member Spotlight: The Lewis-Blake Family
Jen wasn't always certain about her kids getting chiropractic but she sure is glad she made the leap! She initially found Chiropractic and Advanced Vitality when she was searching for an answer for chronic discomfort after giving birth to her first son. She was at the point where she needed a heating pad around her neck every night just to be able to go to sleep.
"Don’t hesitate to start getting treatment, my only regret is not starting sooner. As Moms so many things are recommended that we really don’t need for our kids, this is something that will be beneficial for them for their entire lives."

“EXTREME” was the word that mom first used to describe Bradley’s behavior in school.
He was very high energy, unable to sit still and focus on directions. He was easily overwhelmed by changes in routine and his stressed behavior was overshadowing his ability to just be himself.
The negative reports from teachers were piling up and Bradley’s mom was in a place of frustration and despair . She said that she felt helpless and didn’t exactly know where to turn. She didn’t want to have to use medications. Thankfully, she found chiropractic first!

In the Spring of 2020, right as Covid shut down the world, Noah was diagnosed with ADHD. This diagnosis came after a couple of years of observations in meetings with teachers and support from the Special Education department at his school. When we decided to have Noah tested, my husband and I felt defeated. We are both educators and could not help our son feel comfortable, confident and successful. Noah began having horrible, heart-breaking outbursts and the end of the school day because he was mentally exhausted. His anxiety amped up and he would cry and become inconsolable over homework assignments and anything school related. I watched the Perfect Storm Workshop and was confident that chiropractic care was something that I wanted for Noah. I was willing to try anything to help get our happy boy back. Noah has been getting adjusted for 6 months now and I can hands down say that this was the BEST decision we could have made for our son!

Farewell Ladie
It is bittersweet to announce that Registered Massage Therapist Ladie Ramos will be retiring from Advanced Vitality this month. Ladie has been a part of our team since the very beginning 8 years ago. She has been an integral part of developing the prenatal and pediatric division of our clinic. If you've had the joy of being on her table, you know how caring and incredibly passionate about her job she is. She is one of the best in the business and will continue to be teaching the next generation of massage therapists.
Ladie, we are honoured and grateful to have shared this time with you and wish you love and best wishes as you move into this next phase of your life and career!
